Qualifications:
1. Must be a Filipino citizen, without pending immigration application to any foreign country;
2. Annual gross family income must not exceed P500,000.00;
3. Must have a qualifying GWA of "1.636";
4. Must be a bona fide student enrolled in a Science or Engineering degree program at the University of the Philippines Diliman or UP Los Baños (Sophomore students are given priority);
5. Must be in good mental, physical, and emotional health;
6. Must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action;
7. Must be in good scholastic standing; and
8. Must be enrolled in at least 15 units or normal load of the course at the time of the award of the grant.
Benefits:
School fees (full tuition plus miscellaneous fees) - P30,000.00
Book allowance per semester - 5,000.00
Monthly living allowance of P7,000.00 x 5 mos. - 35,000.00
Total P70,000.00 per semester
P140,000.00 per year
