What is the Star Scholars Program?
The Star Scholars Program is an innovative program that offers a integrated undergraduate and graduate scholarship to high-achieving students from around the country. Students selected for the program have the unique opportunity to earn a master's degree or go into medicine proper (BS Human Biology students) or enroll in the College of Law on full scholarship after finishing their undergraduate degree.


What are the benefits of a Star Scholar?
The Star Scholars Program combines the prestige and the scope of a competitive benefits package. Star Scholars receive a full waiver on tuition, miscellaneous, and laboratory fees throughout their stay in the University. They are also accorded special privileges such as an option to enroll in six units of any foreign language course offered in the University, exclusive use of computer facilities in the library for research and e-mail, additional library borrowing priveleges, advance enrollment, mentoring by the University Fellows, priority in study tours, and special career placement opportunities. Star Scholars are also provided with their personal notebook computer.

Moreover, Star Scholars undergo the Achieving through Integrated Mentoring (AIM) Program through which the University ensures the maximum development of their potentials and offers a support mechanism to facilitate their socio-emotional and spiritual development.

Star Scholars also receive a monthly stipend of Php 10,500 which comprise of Php 4,500 cash benefit (to cover transportation, books, and other academic-related materials, and school activities) and Php 6,000 non-cash benefits (to include the accommodation allowance of Php 4,000 and Php 2,000 meal subsidy).

How can one be a Star Scholar?
One should be among the top examinees of the DLSU Entrance Exam. The University invites the candidates for an orientation and a rigorous screening. A University committee reviews their qualifications and makes the final selection.
